I feel sad today.....

I feel so sad today...

because I'm tired, so tired to see such disregaurd for the Spanish galgo and what feels like their endless plight.
I'm sad to look at case after case and yet no matter what I feel I never feel what a Galgo feels.. their pain -solitary life and agonising torture.
i'm sad today, i want to make a differance and want it to STOP, the endless torture, the hunting and abandonment and yet i see we are into another season of hunting with a government who dont give a damn.

i'm sad today, for those ive seen and for those ive not.
the endless wandering the streets and hiding out scared of their own shadows. Im sad today, for i will go to bed tonight and know there are too many Ive missed, too many out there scared of themselves.

im sad today to have the same make up as a human, for those who harm and for me who in the eyes of those abused "look the same" yet my heart is so different and and needy to make change.

Im sad today - for the thousands of asoc. who try endlessly but are FULL, NO ROOM AT THE INN.. and for those who try to make room, but their own lives ruined, sleepless nights, worry about payments, bills, illness's, slots.. and the forever galgo who came up and wont be caught.

i'm sad today for i look in my galgos eyes and have promised him for all the days of my life I will fight to protect the Spanish galgo from the hell which appears to exist for them.. and sad for all i want is change - a new life, a new future with rights - a light at the end of the tunnel - a ray of hope, for the galgo Español-
