112 Carlota Galgos Jump from Galgos Freedom.. sponsored by las Diva.

112 Carlota galgos steps up and out of a plane " in the name of freedom for the galgos of Spain."

Lisa a volunteer of 112 Carlota galgos alongside Kirstene from a fashion store Las Divas fuengirola are sponsoring 112 carlota galgos and making a statement in bravery, for the name of freedom for the spanish galgo. Sponsorships raised will go to fund educational events and who knows.. maybe to help towards the centre so desperately needed.

Lisa and kirstene are planning to jump for freedom in september (date to be confirmed, so watch this space!)

The idea behind the jump is to raise funds for galgos which need care, and fund educational projects. The older generation we may not reach, but the children are the future and they can learn a better way for animals.. and galgos. I, Carlota and Ambo are proud to advertise this event and step up and out in the name of the galgos. Below see the newspaper article in Liverpool UK about the jump, making headlines already.
If you wish to sponsor the jump please contact comdelrio@hotmail.com for ways of payment details.
Thankyou.. and watch this space for the date!

AN ANIMAL lover is preparing to hurl herself out of a plane at 5,000ft – all because of her love of greyhounds.
Former model Lisa Ingram has agreed to brave her first parachute jump above Seville in September.
The 29-year-old has raised funds to try and help rescue Spanish greyhounds since she moved from Southport to Benalmadena two years ago.
Along with her friend Charlotte Del Rio, she wants to open a greyhound rescue centre and education centre in the area.

She said: “Even in Britain, when many people see greyhounds, they do not think of them as pets – they just see them as racing dogs.
“In Spain, it is far worse. Even local people do not realise just how badly they are treated.
“Greyhounds are often seen as just vermin. When I take mine for a walk, I often get strange looks from people, who think they smell or are aggressive.
“But greyhounds are beautiful animals. We want to educate people that they make wonderful pets.”
Lisa has already taken in four greyhounds of her own – Dana, her fourth, last week joining Hero, Jacob and Cookie.
She said: “I am really excited about doing the jump.”
