This is Jan. The progress that he is making is good. However slow! From the photos you see before and after. Thanks to degalgos he will have a 2nd chance however he will be hard to place with a family as he has special needs.
Jan went through HELL, he had a nail in his head, a metal wire wrapped rounf his paw which had started to grown new skin over the top of it and had other complaints and points of abuse. His case is special, he is a galgo who would steal your heart for he has been through so very much. Each galgo has their own story of their hell and suffering, Jans left behind and ignored by the builders who were feeding the other strays but not jan, he was a "galgo" who could find his own way in their words!
He has had immense care and attention and his progress is good. At the moment he won't be operated on as his carers are waiting to see how he goes with the low doses of cotisone having had a week pain free, and also to see how his treatment goes for his nervous system.
